Itinerary
- 4:00 a.m. – Hotel Pickup
Early in the morning, our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and take you by tourist transport to the train station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy, depending on availability). - Approx. 6:00 a.m. – Train Journey
Board a comfortable tourist train with panoramic windows, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking Andean and high jungle scenery along the way to Aguas Calientes. - 8:00 a.m. – Arrival in Aguas Calientes & Bus Transfer
Upon arrival in Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), our staff will guide you to the bus that winds up the mountain to the entrance of the Inca citadel. - 9:00 a.m. – Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Spend approximately 2.5 hours exploring the most iconic spots of the citadel: the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Sacred Plaza, agricultural terraces, ceremonial fountains, and more. Your guide will share historical, archaeological, and spiritual insights about this world-renowned site. - 12:00 p.m. – Free Time in Aguas Calientes
Return by bus to the town where you’ll have free time for lunch (not included), stroll through the streets, visit the artisan market, or simply relax by the river. - 2:30 p.m. – Return Train Journey
Board the train for the journey back to the station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy). - Approx. 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Arrival in Cusco
Transfer from the train station back to your hotel in Cusco. End of service.
